Run Minnesota Cheer Zone – Earth Day Half Marathon (Mile 10)

🏃 We’ve been selected as one of 5 cheer zones at the Earth Day Half Marathon! The winning cheer zone takes home a $1,000 prize, which we will use to jumpstart our Events Council and the Every Stride Squad initiatives!

Here’s the scoop:

• We’ll cover the Mile 10 water stop, a crucial spot to help runners power through.
• We will be cheering! Our theme is bees for this event and we’ll be decked out to support the runners on the course, handing out water, and having fun!
• Our theme for the cheer zone is bees! For that, we’re asking people to wear black and yellow and we’ll bring accessories for people to get in the bee spirit. We are also looking for a few bold people who want to wear bee costumes to serve as our “mascot.”

We are looking forward to supporting Run Minnesota runners at the event along with all of the other great runners at the event. Want to get in on the fun? Join us as a volunteer! Volunteers will enjoy free snacks/food, a free Run Minnesota shirt, and a fun day of supporting runners!
