Please join the Pfrimmer Family and the Rochester and Stout Running Communities in the second annual Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Run and Walk on Saturday, August 9th. All proceeds from this event will go to the Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Scholarship, supporting students who ran track and field and/or cross country in high school with a preference to students who are still running while pursuing a post-secondary degree.
This event and scholarship were created in loving memory of Lance Pfrimmer, who we lost far too soon. His friends & family created this event to honor his memory and continue his legacy of sportsmanship, positivity, and athleticism.
The event on August 9th will start and end at the Eagle’s Aerie #2228 (917 15th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904) and consists of two distances: an 8K Run and a 1 Mile Walk. Our 8K route will feature a loop on the Mayo High School track, where Lance spent many of his days. Both routes will pass by the location of Lance’s memorial bench.
The first 500 registrants will receive swag: wooden nickel, temporary tattoo and collectible baseball card.
Participants will enjoy post-run refreshments as well as the option to purchase food and beverages from the Eagle’s Club. There will also be a silent auction.
Schedule of Events TBD but we anticipate a similar schedule to last year with a 10AM race start.
