Join us for the 2nd Annual Hustle For Habitat event that includes the Rooster Run 5K and 1 Mile Strut on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Location: Dunvilla Trap Range, 21863 Highway 34 (MN-34), Pelican Rapids, 56572
The Rooster Run 5K is a chip-timed race on a beautiful trail that surrounds lush farmland. Open to all ages. All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given to the Overall Winners (Men and Women) and the Top 3 Men and Top 3 Women finishers by specified age categories. All 5K runners registered prior to July 10, 2025, will receive a newly designed race t-shirt.
The 1 Mile Strut is a fun Run/Walk on a trail that surrounds a grove of trees. Open to all ages. This is a great event for anyone wanting to participate and join the fun without having to do the longer route. This is not a timed race. All finishers will receive a participation award.
All registered 5K and 1 Mile participants will be provided with snacks and cold beverages at the Finish Line.
Additional food and beverages will also be available.
Additional merchandise can be purchased, including extra race shirts and the popular Rooster Run 5K socks that have rooster tracks and the Pheasants Forever logo on them.
This event is designed to allow all participants to run a race in beautiful habitat surrounded by lush farmland. It’s a chance to set a good pace while admiring the fields, pollinator gardens, and grasslands.
