The Jordyn Clark Foundation, a Minnesota non-profit corporation, was created to honor Jordyn Clark, a compassionate and affectionate individual who was lost too soon to suicide. She was beyond enthusiastic about soccer, goalkeeping, coaching, and spreading kindness to all. Through our efforts, we aim to raise awareness about suicide prevention and break down the barriers surrounding mental health and well-being.
Each year, we host our 5k/1 Mile Memorial Event titled “A Race to End Suicide” to honor her incredible impact on us all. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and remind one another that you’re never alone. The event will be held on September 13th, starting at 9 AM at Central Park Pavilion in Eagan, MN. Through this event, we raise funds through registrations, donations, sponsors, and our silent auction. These funds are then redirected to our primary mental health awareness efforts, which include sponsoring life-saving mental health trainings for organizations, developing our goalkeeper glove giveback program, funding our newly created “Sunshine Award” scholarship in Jordyn’s honor, and much more.
