Winter Base Training

January 6 – March 16 (10 weeks)

Our Base Training package is for runners who want structured training in the offseason, those who are training for an early spring race and those looking for accountability and camaraderie.

This package includes:

  • 6 levels of training plans ranging from 20 – 49 miles per week  – the goal is to help you stay consistent and increase your training volume safely within a group setting
  • 8 indoor track group training sessions (Tuesdays from 6 – 8 a.m. at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse from January 21 – March 11)
  • 10 Saturday long runs with the Polar Bears
  • Weekly email from Coach Danny Docherty 
  • Access to Final Surge for training plans, workout tracking and to Class Page for training info and details
Goal/buildup races may include Everybody’s Irish, Hot Dash, Ron Daws, Get in Gear, Goldy’s, Women Run The Cities, Brian Kraft 5k, Eau Claire, Boston and more!
