“I enjoyed meeting all the wonderful runners of all abilities cheering everyone on to their goals. Happy to have no judgement for not being as fast as anyone else.”
“I loved the coaches, the TLs, the other people I ran with – I made so many new running friends and it made it so much nicer to run for hours on end. I loved that its broken up into pace levels because then I didn’t feel intimidated. Everyone is so great.”
“I say this all the time but I could NOT have completed the marathon without Run Minnesota Training. I loved every class even when the workouts were hard and I was hot because I knew I wasn’t alone.”
” I couldn’t make the group runs because of my work schedule so I signed up for the Sprint Tier. Following the training plan in Final Surge was great and the biweekly emails from the coach really helped me understand the training .”

Summer / Fall with the Training Haus
Are you a runner looking to improve strength, reduce injury risk, and become more powerful and efficient?
Register for this 4-phase running-specific strength training program designed to be done in conjunction with fall marathon, half, and 10-mile training at Run Minnesota.
Our goal for this program is to help participants add a run-specific strength component to their running program to help reduce injury risk, improve running mechanics, and improve overall performance outcomes for program participants.
If you are looking to boost your performance, prevent injuries, and enhance your running economy leading to faster times, join us as we embark on a strength plan tailored specifically for Twin Cities Marathon runners. Run Minnesota has partnered with Training HAUS’ running specific strength coach Jimmy Warmuth to create a custom plan for Run Minnesota athletes.
Our focus for this program is to teach you how a strength plan can fix your inefficiencies and become a stronger runner. This program will take you through a typical progression of an elite level distance runner and teach you how to produce power correctly. Throughout this 14 week plan we will be meeting in person to learn our new exercises and progressions as a team, making sure you are set up for success along the training cycle. You can either follow along through the strength training app (with videos) or you can simply follow the excel document.
This 14 week block will be split up between 4 different training blocks.
Block 1: July 1 – July 28 (Body Awareness, Stabilization, General Strength)
Block 2: July 29 – August 25th (Isometric / Tendon Strengthening)
Block 3: August 26 – Sept 15 (Eccentric / Explosive)
Block 4: Sept 16 – Race (Pre Competition Speed and Explosiveness)
At the beginning of each block, we will meet in person at Training HAUS-Eagan to learn the new strength plan to ensure proper form and answer any questions on the new plan.
