The VCA Victory 5K is a run/walk family-friendly, community event that is also a certified and sanctioned USATF race. The weekend also includes a pasta feed and a free kids run. The Victory 5K race will provide chip timing, and each pre-registered participant will be guaranteed this year’s race shirt and medal. VCA aspires to make a positive impact on our community. As part of this mission, VCA has committed to donating a percentage of race proceeds to Project Care Free Clinic in Hibbing. Project Care provides free, basic health care services to those who are underinsured or uninsured in our area.
Both Project Care and VCA are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations aimed at serving well those who walk through their doors. By teaming up to organize and run this premier 5K event on the Iron Range, both organizations can be equipped financially to better serve our people.
