Minnesota’s oldest and first triathlon now in its 40th year. This is a great triathlon for the first timer or for the experienced triathlete. Awesome metro location that is easy to get to with free parking adjacent to the race location. This beautiful metro course features a swim in the calm waters of Turtle lake, bike is fairly flat with wide shoulders, and the run is shaded. Barbecue follows the race for the awards ceremony. Sprint, Olympic and Aqua Bike options available for individuals and 2 and 3 person relay teams. Sprint – .5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run. Olympic – 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike, 5.5 mile run. Aqua Bike features no run. All finishers receive a custom molded finisher medal.
