DESCRIPTION:FANS Ultra Races are a little different from your ordinary race. The fast people and the slow people all start and finish at the same time at FANS. How can we do that? By offering a time-based race rather than a distance-based race. At FANS\, you select from 6-hours\, 12-hours\, or 24-hours. It provides a great opportunity to dip your toes into ultra running or to hone the ultra skills you already possess. The race is staffed with wonderful volunteers and the aid station food is wonderful. We hope you can join us in 2025!

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Ruck Life on May 31\, 2025\, at Mont du Lac Resort. This impactful event raises funds to support our mission of helping veterans build happier\, healthier lives. \nThis is a family-friendly event\, and leashed dogs are welcome to participate. Registration is now open\, with prices increasing after February. The cost is $79 for adults\, $35 for students\, and children ages 5 and under\, as well as volunteers\, can join for free. \nCheck-in begins at 10:30 AM at Mont du Lac Resort\, with the hike starting at noon. The course is a 2-mile loop\, and participants can complete up to 5 loops\, totaling 10 miles. Ruckers are encouraged to pack their rucksacks or backpacks with toiletries\, non-perishable food\, clothing\, and supplies to donate. These donations will be collected at the end of the course and will benefit the DAV of Carlton County Chapter 18.
