DESCRIPTION:We are excited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Ruck Life on September\, 6 2025\, at Anoka High School (across the tennis courts). This impactful event raises funds to support our mission of helping veterans build happier\, healthier lives. \nThis is a family-friendly event\, and leashed dogs are welcome to participate. Registration is now open\, with prices increasing after February. The cost is $79 for adults\, $35 for students\, and children ages 5 and under\, as well as volunteers\, can join for free. \nCheck-in begins at 10:30 AM at Mont du Lac Resort\, with the hike starting at noon. The course is a 2-mile loop\, and participants can complete up to 5 loops\, totaling 10 miles. Ruckers are encouraged to pack their rucksacks or backpacks with toiletries\, non-perishable food\, clothing\, and supplies to donate. These donations will be collected on the course and will benefit the Haven for Heroes.

SUMMARY:Runnin In The Ruff
DESCRIPTION:The annual Runnin’ in the Ruff is a long-standing annual trail run that follows strikingly scenic trails over hills & ridges along the picturesque Rum River. There are two distances: a 2 mile run/walk and a 10k.  The 2 mile is a relatively flat double wide dirt trail that is fun for the elite runner as well as safe for a whole family to run/walk.  The 10k starts is a slightly more challenging course which includes some hills\, flat double wide trail as well as some single track trail.  Both courses will be prepped and a lot of fun. \nWhether you are a hardcore runner and are in it for the race\, or simply want to be part of the event and enjoy what the Milaca Trails has to offer\, you are welcome to join.

SUMMARY:Run Crazy Horse Marathon\, Half Marathon\, 5 Person Marathon Relay\, 5K and Kids 1K
DESCRIPTION:The Run Crazy Horse Half Marathon is a point to point course\, beginning at the Vistor‚Äôs Center at Crazy Horse Memorial. The first 3 miles are within the Memorial Grounds on both paved and gravel roads. Participants will pass by the old schoolhouse and loop out to the bus turnaround at the base of the Crazy Horse Carving. At mile 3\, the course becomes the Mickelson Trail. For the Half Marathoners\, he last 10 miles are a mixture of downhill and flat terrain. Half Marathoners will finish on Main Street in Hill City in front of the Bumpin‚Äô Buffalo bar and grill. Miles 3-16 of the Full Marathon will be an out and back mainly on the Mickelson Trail. Outside of Crazy Horse Memorial\, marathoner runners will turn South on the Mickelson trail to the turnaround in Custer. At Mile 16\, it will be downhill back into Hill City to finish on Main Street. The 5 person Marathon Relay will follow the same course as the Full Marathon. The relay exchange points will be between 5-7 miles apart.

Enjoy the splendid forests\, bridges\, and craggy rocks of the terrain carved out by the last ice age\, while never needing to worry about your footing.\nSpots are limited—secure your place at the starting line and experience Minnesota’s most scenic ultra! \nCOURSE MAP\n\nSTART – 91818 Brandt Rd\, Strugeon Lake\, MN 55783\nFINISH – 1106 88th Ave W\, Duluth\, MN\, 55808. The finish will right next to be an actual bank built in 1918 which has been converted into home and\, for the purposes of this day\, the HQ and finish of the race. \nApproximately 43 miles of this point-to-point race will be run on the incredible Willard Munger Trail. The course is nearly flat (we really mean it) for the first 40 miles. There is a big downhill finish featuring a 500 foot drop over the last 10 miles. This elevation change is just enough to make you feel like you are having the best day of your life without crushing your quads at the end. DESCRIPTION:The Mill Towns Race Series is Approachable & Logistically Easy! Take the stress out of racing toward your next PR or running your first half marathon or marathon! \nThe 10K\, Half Marathon & Marathon are all chip-timed and run on a flat\, scenic course. The marathon is a Boston-qualifying\, certified course. (USATF Certification MN24023MAB) \nThe races start and finish in Memorial Park in the Mill Town of Dundas\, where you’ll also park\, pick up your bib and enjoy pre- and post-race nutrition. The looping\, tree-lined course takes you along the Cannon River from Dundas to the other Mill Town\, Northfield\, and then back again. The 10K completes one loop\, the half marathon two loops and the marathon four loops.
