DESCRIPTION:The Thumbs Up 5K & 10K run\, walk\, and bike event began in October 2014 after several community members lost a loved one to suicide. The event hopes to support those families who have lost a loved one to suicide and to get the conversation started about mental health\, with the hopes that it would allow a safe space for others to seek help. \nThe Annual Thumbs Up 5K & 10K route sponsored by First Bank Elk River and HealthPartners takes place in charming Elk River\, Minnesota. The paved-road course offers a 3.1 mile (5K) and a 6.2 mile (10K) run\, walk\, or bike race. Take in the beauty of the William H. Houlton Conservation area\, the Lake Orono Dam\, and breathtaking views along Lake Orono.

SUMMARY:Run Crazy Horse Marathon\, Half Marathon\, 5 Person Marathon Relay\, 5K and Kids 1K
DESCRIPTION:The Run Crazy Horse Half Marathon is a point to point course\, beginning at the Vistor’s Center at Crazy Horse Memorial. The first 3 miles are within the Memorial Grounds on both paved and gravel roads. Participants will pass by the old schoolhouse and loop out to the bus turnaround at the base of the Crazy Horse Carving. At mile 3\, the course becomes the Mickelson Trail. For the Half Marathoners\, he last 10 miles are a mixture of downhill and flat terrain. Half Marathoners will finish on Main Street in Hill City in front of the Bumpin’ Buffalo bar and grill. Miles 3-16 of the Full Marathon will be an out and back mainly on the Mickelson Trail. Outside of Crazy Horse Memorial\, marathoner runners will turn South on the Mickelson trail to the turnaround in Custer. At Mile 16\, it will be downhill back into Hill City to finish on Main Street. The 5 person Marathon Relay will follow the same course as the Full Marathon. The relay exchange points will be between 5-7 miles apart.

This 3.1 mile course starts and ends at Webber Park in North Minneapolis and. \nVictory Races 10K\nTake on the challenge! The Victory 10K offers runners an opportunity to conquer a fast and exhilarating course while enjoying the crisp Minneapolis autumn. Cheerful crowds\, free participant shirts\, and the opportunity to support local nonprofits make this race one to remember. The 10k also starts and ends at Webber Park in Minneapolis. Bring your energy and enthusiasm this MEA weekend\, and revel in the satisfaction of completing a race that gives back. \nVictory Races Doubleheader\nTwo races\, double the fun. Test your endurance with the Victory Races Doubleheader by running both the 5K and 10K! Start your day with a fast-paced 5K\, recharge\, and then tackle the thrilling 10K. It’s the ultimate challenge for dedicated runners\, with free shirts\, community vibes\, and the chance to fund impactful nonprofits in Minneapolis. You’ll leave with a full heart and satisfied legs! \nVictory Kids Run\nBig fun for little runners! The Victory Kids Run is all about inspiring the next generation of athletes with a kid-friendly race that’s energetic\, exciting\, and inclusive. Perfect for young runners enjoying the MEA weekend\, every participant receives a free shirt and plenty of encouragement from the supportive crowd. Bring the family\, cheer on the kids\, and celebrate community together! \nCOURSE \nThis course is flat\, straight\, and fast! The race starts on Webber Parkway near Colfax and proceeds west on Victory Memorial Drive to the flagpole. It then turns directly south to Lowry to the halfway point turn-around and returns the same route\, finishing on Webber Parkway near Bryant Ave. The 5K course is flat\, out to the flagpole and back. Both distances are USATF Certified.\n5K Map | 10K Map \n**Participants Must Register by October 1st to Guarantee a Shirt**
