SUMMARY:Urban Wildland Half Marathon & 5K
DESCRIPTION:Since 2003\, the Urban Wildland Half Marathon & 5K has helped fund Wood Lake Nature Center’s environmental education partnership with the Richfield Public Schools\, which has been in place since 1971.  The partnership brings Richfield’s K-6 students to Wood Lake multiple times a year as part of their science curriculum. Thanks to the Urban Wildland\, the program was spared from budget cuts and has continued every year with the proceeds from this event. \nThe Urban Wildland Half Marathon and 5K courses wind through shaded residential neighborhoods\, natural areas (including Wood Lake Nature Center\, the benefactor of the event!)\, and neighborhood parks. Both courses are circular. The half marathon is a USATF-certified course.

SUMMARY:Run Crazy Horse Marathon\, Half Marathon\, 5 Person Marathon Relay\, 5K and Kids 1K
DESCRIPTION:The Run Crazy Horse Half Marathon is a point to point course\, beginning at the Vistor’s Center at Crazy Horse Memorial. The first 3 miles are within the Memorial Grounds on both paved and gravel roads. Participants will pass by the old schoolhouse and loop out to the bus turnaround at the base of the Crazy Horse Carving. At mile 3\, the course becomes the Mickelson Trail. For the Half Marathoners\, he last 10 miles are a mixture of downhill and flat terrain. Half Marathoners will finish on Main Street in Hill City in front of the Bumpin’ Buffalo bar and grill. Miles 3-16 of the Full Marathon will be an out and back mainly on the Mickelson Trail. Outside of Crazy Horse Memorial\, marathoner runners will turn South on the Mickelson trail to the turnaround in Custer. At Mile 16\, it will be downhill back into Hill City to finish on Main Street. The 5 person Marathon Relay will follow the same course as the Full Marathon. The relay exchange points will be between 5-7 miles apart.

DESCRIPTION:The Mill Towns Race Series is Approachable & Logistically Easy! Take the stress out of racing toward your next PR or running your first half marathon or marathon! \nThe 10K\, Half Marathon & Marathon are all chip-timed and run on a flat\, scenic course. The marathon is a Boston-qualifying\, certified course. (USATF Certification MN24023MAB) \nThe races start and finish in Memorial Park in the Mill Town of Dundas\, where you’ll also park\, pick up your bib and enjoy pre- and post-race nutrition. The looping\, tree-lined course takes you along the Cannon River from Dundas to the other Mill Town\, Northfield\, and then back again. The 10K completes one loop\, the half marathon two loops and the marathon four loops. There will be water stops\, finish line food and fun\, race bibs and finisher medals.  \nWe won’t have long lines\, parking headaches or an expo to add to your schedule. \nStart Times: \n    7:30 AM – Marathon\n    8 AM – Half Marathon\n    8:30 AM – 10K
